Colombia Zona Story:
Colombia Zona is a CBD Infused coffee company based in Colombia. They take CBD infusion to the highest level and combine them with products like coffee to make an improved version with more health benefits. Taking the best of natural products and adding the colorful bold spirit of Colombian cannabis CBD to make them better.

The tropical bird design is meant to represent nature while the colors of the bird represent the country of Colombia with red, blue, and yellow being the colors of the Colombian flag. The roughness of the strokes is meant to represent the hand made nature of Colombian products showing that they where made by hand and not just machine. That leans heavily into the organic feeling that I wish to capture.
I chose “Infused with the Colombia Spirit” as that’s what I am really going for. The feeling you get from these products should help get that calm feeling of tropical forest breeze or the feeling of calmness from a day sunning at a beach. These products don’t just have CBD in them, they have the colorful and calm spirit of Colombia in them as well.
Colombia Inspired design
When I went into rebranding the Colombia Zona brand, I did a lot of research into the art and culture of Colombia.
Colombia is a beautiful country full of nature and a bright colorful culture. Along side that, it’s a country where amazing plants such as coffee plants, hemp, and cannabis thrive. Cannabis has proven to be a healthy natural ingredient with many benefits thanks to modern CBD research. With Colombia being a country where the source of CBD thrives, adding CBD to something is like infusing it with spirit of Colombia itself.
We want the products of Zona to represent that beautiful fusion of the Colombia spirit, even if you are as far away as you can be from the country of Colombia as you can physically be. We want the CBD infused products you are using to take you to that wonderful zona of the tropical lands of Colombia where life is full of colorful culture and natural beauty.
So that’s what this pitch is here to represent. Zona CBD Infused Products is a company that takes CBD infusion to the highest level and combines them with products like coffee to make an improved version with more health benefits. I dived deep into the art and nature that you find through out the country. Colombia is very colorful and their art reflects that. Below you can see some of the reference images I used in my design process.
Colors, shapes, and patterns
The three colors I chose for Zona Colombia are inspired by the flag of Colombia its self but toned down in brightness to be easier too look at and to have a classier feel to them. You can see I can up with some names for them and have also noted their CYMK values as well. There is deep red, blue depths, and evening sun.
The shapes are pulled directly from the logo and are rough brush strokes turned into actual shapes. They are meant to be very organic and rough looking to represent a hand panted quality to them.
